Glossary
177 terms, with 68 related words, alphabetical by pinyin. The glossary from The Taoist Alchemy of Wang Liping, covering the Chinese terms in all three volumes.
Writing, glossary
The glossary includes the Chinese terms from Volumes One, Two, and Three and other terms useful for Taoist alchemy practice. Many terms have multiple definitions. I have only included definitions relevant to the training context of these books.
Note: translation of neidan terms is notoriously difficult simply because English does not have the vocabulary; also alchemical meanings shift depending on their context. Approach the following definitions loosely. I recommend learning the terms in the list, then forgetting the English translation and building up your own definition as your practice develops.
A few terms have longer entries of their own: the dantian, jing, qi and shen, neidan, qigong and neigong, and Wang Liping.
