About the retreat
A three-day introduction to Taoist internal alchemy (neidan) in the Dragon Gate lineage, in Whistler, two hours north of Vancouver. The same programme as Houston.
Who it is for
Anyone. No background needed. You should be able to sit for about thirty minutes at a time.
What we will do
Material from Course 2 (Furnace and Cauldron), Course 3 (Refining Jing into Qi) and Course 5 (Opening the Celestial Eye):
- Laying Foundation
- Setting up Cauldron and Furnace
- Kan and Li Breathing
- Five Element Organ Practice
- Activating Lower Field (dantian)
- Refining Jing into Qi
- Opening Celestial Eye
What the days look like
- Morning walking practice outdoors
- Two 90-minute sitting sessions a day
- Talks on the method
- Questions in the evening
